Our Story

ChocAffaires has been a part of Mumbai since 1978, when our founder, Meher Pinto, first began crafting her signature dark chocolate truffles at home.

At a time when chocolates were rare in India, she pioneered her own creations - chocolate truffles, silky marzipan, almond rocks, and more - each one carefully wrapped and presented in her iconic gold boxes.

What began as a small passion soon evolved into ChocAffaires, a name that quickly became synonymous with indulgence and celebration.

As word spread, Meher built a close-knit team of female artisans who continue, even today, to handcraft every piece in small batches. Each recipe is original and uncompromising, created to deliver flavors that are bold, generous, and unmistakably hers.

Over the years, ChocAffaires has become an integral part of Indian festivities - an indulgent choice for Diwali, a thoughtful gift for weddings, and a symbol of old-world charm at celebrations of every kind.

Today, Meher is joined by her daughter Ghazala, making ChocAffaires a true mother-daughter duo. Together, they nurture a legacy of proudly Indian, handmade chocolates, staying true to the values that defined the brand from the beginning: Quality, Craft, and Tradition.
